We don't normally dance out in August except for Minden Day, but we made an exception for Chawton Village Fete. On what proved to be one of the hottest days of what was to become one of the hottest summers on record, the wisdom of accepting the invitation was called into doubt! Those who weren't dancing huddled under whatever shade they could find, as did our audience.
But it's a lovely setting and we were made very welcome
And we did our best to fill the arena
Admittedly, some of us were not in regulation kit.
